This Sunday was the day. The day we presented our 2010-2011 NKBV Dutch Iceclimbing Team.
We even got some beautiful vests to wear with big orange letters saying "Nederland" on our back.
The day was successful but very long. I didn't have the time to talk to friends I hadn't seen for such a long time. But we could finally show how good the Dutch are in a not so common sports: iceclimbing.
Our iceclimbing team gave a little show to introduce our sports to the Dutch climbers and walkers who were visiting the event.
We has some pictures, our materials and a little photo book on a table.
The climbing gym was filled with people watching us climb and when Dennis topped the route (on lead, the sportsclimbing team only did top-rope!) he got a bog applause from the audience!
The sportsclimbers also got a bit onto iceclimbing with Dutch master Jorg Verhoeven trying our axes on the holds. (See little movie)
